โ€œIt's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothin' that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never hadโ€

Every time we hear Africa by Toto weโ€™ll think about Kathleen and Simon. (If youโ€™ve not heard it please listen immediately, its a total banger.) They walked back down the aisle to it. Their guests - literally all their guests - sang it to them during the speeches.

Actually, all the music during the day was on point. Not just the first dance - Heaven by DJ Sammy, which the crowd absolutely went off - and later in the night Simon joined the band for a rendition of Donโ€™t Look Back in Anger. But not in a drunk karaoke way, in a really good way, like he actually played the guitar, did the solo and everything.

After a first look at the Magdalen Green bandstand (we love a first look) we headed for The Weaving Shed Studios, a gorgeous blank-canvas venue in Dundee (we also love a bit of exposed brickwork). The colours of the flowers, the stationery and table decorations looked so good in this space. There were speeches - all excellent - great food and a lot of dancing.

All-in-all a brilliant day, thanks for having us along to shoot it!
