Bold, full-of-colour wedding days are such a joy to shoot, especially with Summerhall in Edinburgh as a backdrop. Add some beautiful family moments into the mix and we are in photography heaven.
After getting dressed to the nines Will and Libby met in the morning to walk to the venue together. Heading across the city with the person your fiancé is a gorgeous start to a marriage and from there the day unfolded with so many special moments. The guests took part in a performance art piece created by Libby’s mum. Chocolate and salt were handed around the ceremony room to illustrate that while both flavours are opposites they work together to create something special. And Will’s father also sang, accompanied on piano by Will.
Summerhall was decked out with streamers - seemingly every colour under the sun was on show - and the day turned in to night with some raucous ceilidh-ing.
