A Stylish Glasgow Wedding in the Heart of the City

For couples planning a Glasgow city wedding, it’s hard to beat the atmosphere and character of St Luke’s. If you’re into music there’s a good chance you’ve been to a gig there, or maybe round the corner at the iconic Barrowlands. The whole area is full of eye-catching details and street art, interesting colours and architectural details. In short, a perfect place for Liam and Sophie’s wedding - music lovers with an eye for the off-beat and eclectic.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear this day was going to be something special. Stylish without being overdone, relaxed yet full of intention, their wedding felt effortlessly them — a true reflection of their personalities and love of music.

Sophie’s bridal styling was modern and elegant, perfectly complementing the urban feel of the venue, while Liam opted for a sharp, contemporary look that suited the city setting beautifully.

After a heartfelt and loved-up ceremony, we hit the streets for some couples portraits. After a wee wander round the neighbourhood, it was back to St Luke’s for speeches (all excellent), dinner and dancing that nearly took the roof off.

Just before I headed off, we nipped round to see the world-famous Barra’s neon sign and got a few photos - the perfect end to a perfect day, full of excellent tunes and good times.
