Tabby & Rob’s wedding was held at their family home, literally in the middle of nowhere.  It wasn’t just a wedding — it was, as they called it, a big party.

Relaxed, fun, full of colour and dancing. A celebration centred not on perfection, but on people.

A Ceremony Full of Heart

They were married at the beautifully rural St Columba's Church in Poltalloch, 

During the signing of the register they had their two very close friends sing Life With You by The Proclaimers — and within seconds, the entire church joined in. Voices filled the space, arms linked, smiles everywhere. It was loud, emotional and completely unpolished in the best possible way.

Rain, Mud & Midges

It rained. All day.

The kind of relentless Scottish rain that turns fields into mud. The catering vans got stuck. Guests appeared to help push. The midges were out in full force.

But none of it mattered, no one cared or perhaps even noticed.

A Dance Floor That Never Stopped

When the ska band kicked in, the party truly began.

Within seconds, the dance floor was full, ties loosened, shoes kicked off, parents dancing with university friends, arms around shoulders, choruses shouted at the top of lungs.

Choosing Joy

Tabby & Rob's wedding wasn’t defined by the weather, or the mud, or even the breathtaking loch side setting.

It was defined by attitude.  They were so much fun to be around and it was a joy of a wedding to film, despite me being soaked to the bone.
