A Stylish Glasgow Wedding in an iconic venue

When Fiona and Steven told us that their wedding would have “a real disco vibe at night”, we knew this was going to be right up our street. Not to mention Fiona’s stunning vintage dress and the general lovely vibes all round!

We clicked right from our first phone call when they told us about their love for the venue and their family-focused winter wedding. House for an Art Lover is one of our favourite places to shoot, it’s such an iconic space with gorgeous details around every corner. Fiona and Steven were drawn to the sculptures in the grounds, and we were lucky to get a gap in the February weather for a wander around the gardens. Their choice of decor let the venue shine, while reflecting their own love of art and design.

Another nod to the artistic heritage of the venue was the Art for All Van, which Fiona and Steven hired as afternoon entertainment. It was packed with enthusiastic guests all trying their hand at some Charles Rennie Mackintosh-inspired projects.

After a round of emotional and hilarious speeches we all headed downstairs where pretty much everyone threw themselves into dancing all night.
