Lee + Mark’s chic, joyful and stylish wedding at Barras Art and Design

Lee & Mark’s stylish, chic wedding at Barras Art and Design in Glasgow was a riot of great vibes, big laughs and the best music. BAaD is right in the heart of the iconic Barras market, with incredible street art adding to the cool city aesthetic.

It was a gorgeous Saturday in May and Lee arrived at the venue in a vintage Land Rover, walking under the famous Barras red sign with her girls beside her. Mark was waiting at the top of the aisle, surrounded by friends and family. You’ll see from the photos how beautiful and light the space is, finished off with a 7ft flower arch by Mud Urban florist.

There were loads of brilliant touches for the guests to enjoy - signature cocktails and a whisky bar of course, but also a casino and ice-cream station (who wouldn’t love an ice-cream after an intense hour of dancing??) They also laid on street food by BAaD, and if you’ve eaten there you know how good that food is.

After the ceremony they took a moment to themselves in the oyster bar on the mezzanine and watched their guests enjoying cocktails below. And then we had 3 excellent speeches and right into the dancing. Which absolutely popped off, just as you’d expect for a venue so closely associated with music.
