It’s almost a year to the day since we arrived at the beautiful Gilmerton House to discover that Storm Arwen had knocked out the power, along with several thousand autumn leaves. But Nicole & Brodie were more than happy to crack on and get married by candlelight, while the low winter sun dropped behind the trees outside.
Anyone in the wedding industry will tell you that its a privilege to be around for so many special moments. And there were few moments more joyful than the second when the lights clicked back in to life during an acoustic singalong of The Proclaimers. Even better, we caught it on film.
