Here's a wedding full of love, music, laughter and all the other good stuff. Rick & Fiona got married at the lovely Hartree Estate in a tipi surrounded by their friends & family. I've known these guys for many years, and to be part of this day was a personal highlight of the year for me. Sam knocked it out of the park with the photos and the party went on long into the night.Read More
We got some amazing news this week.
The wedding film we created for Cai & Iain has been awarded the prize for wedding film of the year by Rangefinder magazine. This is a huge honour for us - Rangefinder is one of the most highly-regarded photography publications in the world. Any photographer will tell you that recognition from Rangefinder is officially a Huge Deal.
Check out the full film above and find more of our films here. Meanwhile, we'll be celebrating!
Abbie & Martin's wedding was one of those beautiful April days, where summer weather arrives in Scotland a good few months ahead of schedule. Errol Park, a beautiful stately home in Perthshire, is a pretty amazing venue (even on the dreich-est of winter days) so seeing the place on a balmy spring day was a real treat. The ceremony took place on the lawn, guests mingled in the grounds before moving to the Coach House for the evening reception. Check out the gorgeous dress from Unbridaled, flowers by Rose and Ammi and cake by Liggy's.Read More
Shortly after meeting Ingrid & Tom it became apparent that they chose Jupiter Artland not only for its unique landscape and awe-inspiring sculptures but because they felt a real connection with the place which went beyond ticking the wedding venue box.
They really wanted to get married outside in the gardens of Bonnington House, a beautifully restored Jacobean mansion which sits proudly at the centre of the Jupiter Artland estate. They were sceptical that the October weather would be on their side, but as it happens it turned out to be one of those perfect autumn days.
They had a humanist ceremony in the garden with Nathan Coley's 'You Imagine What You Desire' thoughtfully illuminating the background. Afterwards we headed out for some photos just as the sun was setting. It couldn't have been more perfect.Read More
Hundreds of paper cranes flew from the ceiling at Drygate Brewery, each one made with love by John & Darren's friends and family. There were excellent speeches, great food, a full dancefloor and craft beer. What more can you ask for? It was a day full of love and we were so pleased to be there to capture it all.Read More

There's something we love about the light over in Fife. The way it hits the coast around St Andrews is, frankly, magical. Kinkell Byre has more than a hint of magic about it too, what with all the twinkling lights inside and beautiful views out to sea. Christie & Stuart's wedding was another cracking day in this lovely part of the world with details aplenty to enjoy.Read More
When you get light like this you just HAVE to shoot. Heading over to this part of the country is always a treat, and this wedding was no exception. Jennifer & Matt shared their gorgeous day with family & friends at Crear, one of Scotland's top wedding venues. After a lovely, personal ceremony at nearby South Knapdale Parish Church, the newlyweds headed to the beach for some photos. White sand, crystal clear waters and views out to Jura - perfection. Take time to scroll through the images here to see all the decorative touches chosen with care to make the day even more lovely.Read More
When you catch the perfect split-second moment
A few moments of tranquility in a silent forest near Liverpool
We love a sunset and the view at Kinkell Byre is one of the best in the business. Kinda like a frame from the end of a movie, don't you think?

The subtle details which catch the eye
It was one of those unexpectedly amazing Spring days we sometimes get here in Scotland and we took full advantage of the gorgeous, soft light which streamed over the hills on Cait & Paul's wedding day back in April. One of our favourite things to do (when not actually taking pictures) is looking for cool, interesting spots where we can take MORE pictures, and The Tin Shed certainly has these in abundance. Cait & Paul were game for wandering with us which we chased the light and we're delighted with what we captured. After the photos they rejoined their friends and family to mix, mingle and swap stories in the wam afternoon sunshine.Read More
