We absolutely loved making this film for Amy & Henry at Fortingall Hall in Perthsire. The rain hammered down all day until the sun broke through the clouds in the evening, casting that beautiful silvery light we adore so much.Read More
Kinross House is a stunning venue, to say the least. The lush, green gardens and breath-taking interiors were the perfect backdrop for Katie & Brian’s autumn wedding. Katie & Brian, along with their families, made this day a joy from start to finish.Read More
Chris and Sophie brought a riot of colour to this corner of Glasgow when they celebrated their wedding in Kinning Park. Everywhere we looked there was a pop of blue, or pink, or vivid green or bright, sunny yellow. It was the perfect palette for such a happy day.Read More
The west of Scotland is, frankly, one of the most beautiful spots in what is already a pretty beautiful country. We were delighted to be asked to head back to Lunga House to shoot Amy & Ailsa’s wedding. With the Atlantic one one side and the Scottish wilderness at your back its such a special place to get married. We loved everything about this wedding, working with some of our faves (Myrtle & Bracken and the good people at Lunga House) and sharing day full of love and good times.Read More
It goes without saying that weddings are made by the people you choose to celebrate with, but that is especially true when it comes to Lisa & Pete. They got married at the farm of a dear friend, Lisa’s dress was made by her aunt and many more of the details were thoughtfully created by their friends & family. This whole day was a joy from start to finish. The love & warmth from the marquee practically radiated into the cool autumn evening.Read More
Time to look back on another year of weddings. From the western isles to Italy, it’s been another year of throwing the camera bag in the back seat and setting off on adventures. Getting up early for sunrise shoots and staying late for one more tune. Taking the shots while hairs being done, the first time dad sees the dress, the moment the car rolls up outside. Watching groomsmen who are watching YouTube and learning how to tie a tie. Another year of us getting right in the middle of a confetti explosion or flailing arms on the dancefloor. Another year of dust-in-the-eye during the speeches. Another year of meeting people, making new friends, seeing old ones with their new families. Here’s to 2019.Read More
We’ve been fortunate enough to shoot all over the world and this summer we travelled to Italy for Megan & Tom’s wedding. Villa Boccabianca is a beautiful place to get married with gorgeous views wherever you happen to turn. From the doors of the villa we could see azure blue seas and lush green vineyards, while Megan & Tom’s family & friends enjoyed some pretty spectacular weather, food and good times.Read More
Rich & Iane live in Wales but fell in love with Scotland (as so many people do) when they were looking for the perfect spot for their elopement. They both love the outdoors and wanted to marry somewhere in celebration of that - and you don’t get many more beautiful places that Glencoe and Glen Etive. We were so stoked when they asked us along to document their day, especially when they asked us to make a wedding film in addition to the photography. While some of the weather on the day could definitely be described as ‘classically Scottish’, we also found the pockets of sunlight and trails of mist which make Glencoe such a magical place.Read More
What a day this was - a wedding in the country, on a farm, next to a forest. Hannah & Ben were surrounded by friends, family and their dog for an outdoor wedding, overlooking spectacular views across the south of Scotland. Guests travelled from all over the country to this small, perfect corner to celebrate their wedding and we were thrilled to be asked along too.Read More
One of the best things about being a wedding photographer is getting the chance to explore the country and find the perfect corner. Mar Lodge is a gorgeous hunting lodge up in the Highlands, surrounded by so much natural beauty its hard to know when to put the camera down. We were thrilled to head up there to shoot Rachel & Andrew's wedding, its a joy to get out into nature take pictures of 2 people in love.Read More
You can probably tell that we love a wedding bursting with colour and Rachael & Cameron's wedding definitely delivered on that score. The decor was full of lush, tropical vibes (with amazing flowers by Floral Renegade and nails by Neverland ) and The Drake was a perfect space for this day full of love, laughs & family. Also, if you're looking for amazing cakes look no further than Kaf. Shooting Rachael & Cameron's wedding was an absolute blast from beginning to end.Read More
When I think back on this wedding, I think about the colours. Pastel bridesmaid dresses, vivid green leaves, a blue suit, the incredible, bright flower crown and that perfect shade of orange-pink that comes through in the stone walls on the west coast. Thanks so much to Alex & Grant for having us along to their awesome wedding. And did we mention they have a pug?Read More
Here's a wedding full of love, music, laughter and all the other good stuff. Rick & Fiona got married at the lovely Hartree Estate in a tipi surrounded by their friends & family. I've known these guys for many years, and to be part of this day was a personal highlight of the year for me. Sam knocked it out of the park with the photos and the party went on long into the night.Read More

Abbie & Martin's wedding was one of those beautiful April days, where summer weather arrives in Scotland a good few months ahead of schedule. Errol Park, a beautiful stately home in Perthshire, is a pretty amazing venue (even on the dreich-est of winter days) so seeing the place on a balmy spring day was a real treat. The ceremony took place on the lawn, guests mingled in the grounds before moving to the Coach House for the evening reception. Check out the gorgeous dress from Unbridaled, flowers by Rose and Ammi and cake by Liggy's.Read More
Shortly after meeting Ingrid & Tom it became apparent that they chose Jupiter Artland not only for its unique landscape and awe-inspiring sculptures but because they felt a real connection with the place which went beyond ticking the wedding venue box.
They really wanted to get married outside in the gardens of Bonnington House, a beautifully restored Jacobean mansion which sits proudly at the centre of the Jupiter Artland estate. They were sceptical that the October weather would be on their side, but as it happens it turned out to be one of those perfect autumn days.
They had a humanist ceremony in the garden with Nathan Coley's 'You Imagine What You Desire' thoughtfully illuminating the background. Afterwards we headed out for some photos just as the sun was setting. It couldn't have been more perfect.Read More
Hundreds of paper cranes flew from the ceiling at Drygate Brewery, each one made with love by John & Darren's friends and family. There were excellent speeches, great food, a full dancefloor and craft beer. What more can you ask for? It was a day full of love and we were so pleased to be there to capture it all.Read More
